Friday Night Freestyle Events: What could make them better?

I want to hear what you guys thought about last years "Friday Night Freestyle Events". Should Timberline keep them around? Do you have ideas to make them better? Let's hear some things you would like to see at these small events.

  1. I only attended the final event last year. I had no complaints. Maybe they could do two a month? Or have one near the day lodge like last year and do one on a feature in the park.

  2. this is my first season in the northwest, so i have no idea what you guys do for the friday night session thing... but it would be cool, if every set-up was different week by week, and if each set-up was focusing on different style of shred. i.e. one week jibs, other week rhythm(small jump line) section. you know, keep it fun and simple. besides that, i hope timberline opens next weekend cause i really need to get stretch it out. maybe guru, if you could post some photos of what it's looking like up there, cause the web cams are kinda bunk, and the lodge doesn't seem to have up dated the report since september 28th. thanks again.

  3. I'll see what I can do about some photos. Friday night events need to be something that can be set up right below the day lodge. So remember, jump lines won't work. But keep the feedback coming.

  4. I didn't attend any of the friday night features jams last season, but i saw all the vids and think its pretty rad. Anyways, one thing i think would be cool is if for one of the jams, people could vote on what features they want to see in the jams and the most popular features cold be put into the park for the jam.

  5. I only managed to make it to the final event last year, It was pretty cool because all the new features were combined which made it fun to ride. i think this year should be the same, once a month do a new feature that weve never had yet. Last year was super sick and with the communication that were using this year its only gonna be sicker. And if your reading this and you havent put down any feedback YOU STINK

  6. HAHA Good job calling me out. I've been slackin a little bit I know. What can I say I've been a little busy. But winter is almost here so you can count on me living, breathing and eating snowboarding. So hang in there when it comes to my lack of posts and feedback. Anyway, I've been reading all of your comments. And trust me, other people have been reading them as well so keep them coming.

  8. i think that maybe a channel gap in the quater at the bottom would be cool. maybe a rail in the middle....
