What would you like to see on the Timberline Website?

Ok so I said it was coming. I told you to be prepared to get involved. I want some ideas from people. Tell me what you would like to see on a parks page on Timberline's website. Would you like to see photos, videos, links, discussion forums what? Do you wish there were a way to get professional quality photos of you on a certain feature in the park?

Give me FEEDBACK!!!

  1. Is there a name or names behind this blog as to who's responsible for such a genious idea of making a blog about the park community inviting open involvement!? Park Guru?

I've been a snowboard instructor at the "largest ski-school in the Midwest" in Minnesota for 3 years and at Meadows for 2 seasons, and I'm hella stoked to say the least that theres something for where the real money's going! Don't get me wrong, I support Meadows, they've got great customer service-, Though on a very similar trail no names here, I don't like to see the "active membership" dues "with" skier benefits only go to straight laced education events and board of director election luncheons (if you know what I mean). I'm more than happy to pay $349 for a season pass and see the care and involvement Timberline Parks has in our kids future! And photos, weather forecasts, and interest in feedback and ideas to boot!

Freestyle snowboarding is due, I mean due, and riders input is vital to the very progression of the beast. I'm pickin up what your puttin down. So you're sayin' there's a chance...

  2. Pics of the hits/rails and/or a map listing features would be rad. Maybe you could then link specific pics to features so that folks could see what bein thrown down. Great way to see what has been done and how one can "break new ground". Weekly/monthly photo/video contest? Forums would be chill, but I am sure they would be taken over by trolls, and I would rather have the crew working on the parks than monitoring the forum. Maybe a "people’s choice feature" where surfers can vote from a list of features (chosen by the crew) and the top vote getter would be built into the park. Or a vote on more/less rails/hits. Point one or more of the webcams at the park(s) so folks can see live whats goin down and the office jockeys can day dream. Get the people involved in as many ways as possible. Last season killed it; let’s keep the bar super high. Oh, and a mid park shack would be nanners, assuming they sell choice brew.

  6. Like we talked about the other day, a weekly video of the timberline riders and spot for a local to get in the video if they are killing it would be sweet. How about a weekly feature in the park where we see who can throw down the best stuff. Like nick said I believe a forum would get takin' over by timberline haters and trolls.

  7. Arty Party said...I would like to see a trail map of each of the runs of the park ex. on norman 2 trails with a hit by hit feature list when you scroll over it tells you the size of the jump(or rail) in feet, whether that it's considered s m l or xl, recent pic of the feature...like a virtual tour of the park but updated bi weekly tues fri or even tri weekly mon thurs sat...no forums but a suggestion page where you would read through all the wishlists of features and built 1 thing(box rail wallride...combos) new per month..you should also put a more detailed build/rebuild schedule up so if we're coming on a trip we know a week in advance that the park is gonna be closed or fresh...I really like the webcam idea...maybe even one at the beginning of the park one near the end of the park...I bought a pass at meadows last year...then heard Tline had the better park and went for one day and then bought a season pass at Tline too just because of the norman park....s jump m jump l jump xl jump line was the funnest jumpline i've ever hit!
